Accounts Payable Clerk - $25/hr | Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and has strong accuracy in processing invoices and vendor payments.
Key Responsibilities- Process vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform 2‑way and 3‑way match to verify pricing and receipts
- Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor AP email inbox and respond to vendor inquiries
- Maintain organized AP files and support month‑end close activities
- 2+ year of Accounts Payable or accounting support experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high‑volume processing
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
