Accounting Manager

The Robert Half Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in the Greater Sacramento Area. You will lead month- and year-end close processes, manage general ledger activities, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Lead month- and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations
