Sr. Superintendent; K-12 Construction

The Senior Superintendent will manage a singular large project and/or multiple project teams throughout the area to meet or exceed company and client expectations. Projects may range up to over $50 million in construction costs.

The employee’s primary responsibility will be for all onsite activities of a construction project, from start-up to punch-out, including:

• Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practices
• Quality control, ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are corrected
• Maintaining the project schedule and establishing the critical path for subs and vendors
• Facilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordination
• Working with the design team and owner to overcome challenges and unforeseen conditions
• Reviewing all drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Preparing daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates

The role is to ensure the construction of the project on site from beginning to completion, utilizing best practices in safety, quality, schedule, and cost, while maintaining relationships with trade partners and clients. These projects are primarily K-12 school districts, with costs ranging from $30 million to over $50 million.

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience
• K-12 experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive experience with subcontractor management and construction sequencing
• Understanding of ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
• Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate commitment to client service
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid Driver’s License
