Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

Webuild () is seeking a Project Engineer that will be responsible for a wide range of project engineering and construction management tasks, primarily focused on commercial construction projects, including retail, restaurant, office, medical facilities, multi-family residences, and senior living communities, across the vibrant Sacramento marketplace.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of construction management and project engineering experience that includes managing project schedules, conducting detailed quantity takeoffs, developing accurate project estimates, scrutinizing bids, and meticulously maintaining project documentation. This documentation encompasses RFQs, RFI's, subcontractor submittals, change orders, and more.

In this role, you will work collaboratively within the project management team to managing new ground-up construction and extensive infrastructure renovation projects. Tasked with management of project schedules, ensuring budget compliance, performing take offs, inspecting quality of construction and maintaining all project documentation throughout the build cycle, including project closeout activities.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as a strong desire to learn and grow within a highly respected project team.
