40 Lifestyle Show Host (Part-Time)

The part-time Studio
40 Lifestyle Show Host is responsible for hosting a program, conducting in-studio interview segments, and participating in on-location segments as scheduled.

• Provide daily on camera contributions to a daily television show
• Assist Executive Producer with writing show segments
• Interview show guests/clients both in studio and on location
• Collect information, video or photos at remote locations for post-production
• Greet and assist guests during show preparations
• Research show topics and develop questions for guests in coordination with Executive Producer
• Attend daily show meetings
• Assist sales on presentations including meeting with clients
• Participate in events – either station-sponsored or others – to promote the show
• Maintain the show's social media account and assist with all online and streaming content as directed by the Producers

• Bachelor's degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Five years' experience preferred. Proven experience as a host or on-air personality
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines
• Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of health and medical topics and/or nutrition and fitness preferred
• Business acumen a must

Compensation: $22.00+/hr commensurate with experience and skill level
