• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Dental Assistant
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Current CPR or BLS card (must remain active)
• 8‑Hour Infection Control Certificate (required by California Dental Board)
• California Dental Practice Act Certificate
• Proof of current immunizations and TB screening
• Fluency in another language is a strong plus

• Familiarity with dental tools, terminology, and procedures
• Previous experience in healthcare or a customer‑facing role

• Coordinate preventative dental evaluations using tele‑health platforms
• Collect medical histories, capture diagnostic data, and organize patient records for remote dentist review
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through the virtual visit process and answering questions
• Maintain accurate documentation while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
