Autopsy Pathologist Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
Position Overview:
Salary: $210,000 - $409,700. Membership in Health Sciences Compensation Plan.
Department of Medical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of California, Davis, Health Sacramento, California.
Clinical Responsibilities- Primary coverage of the autopsy service (60% time).
- Additional participation in other clinical services as consulted with department Chair.
- Oversight of autopsy policies, procedures and compliance with accreditation requirements in partnership with Hospital Laboratory Services.
- Participation in residency program.
- Clinical teaching of house staff and medical students.
- Presentation of cases at inter- and intradepartmental conferences.
- Interest in teaching gross anatomy and pathology to medical students.
- Participation in clinically oriented research projects, either as collaborator or leader.
- Preference for candidates interested in establishing an autopsy research program.
- At Assistant/Associate/Professor level.
- Experience in pediatric pathology beneficial.
- Interest in teaching gross anatomy and pathology to medical students.
- Leadership experience or potential for Director of Autopsy Service.
