Assistant or Associate Professor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Department of Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery, University of California, Davis School of Medicine. Full‑time clinical series.

Salary range: $340,000–$550,000. Includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.

The department seeks a full‑time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to expand services in orthognathic surgery, maxillo‑mandibular advancement for sleep surgery, osseointegrated implant placement for prosthetic reconstruction, dentoalveolar surgery, benign odontogenic lesion management, temporomandibular joint disorder treatment, and 3‑D surgical planning/printing. This role does not include head and neck oncologic surgery, microvascular reconstruction, or cosmetic facial surgery.

The practice utilizes cone‑beam imaging, an in‑office procedure room, comprehensive dental care, and collaboration with supportive colleagues in a highly ranked academic environment. Additionally, a portion of the service will be based at a community educational clinic operated by the University of the Pacific Dental School. Candidates will have opportunities for academic research and professional advancement.

Applicants must hold a DDS or DMD degree, be board certified or board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Perform orthognathic surgery and maxillo‑mandibular advancement procedures.
• Place osseointegrated implants for prosthetic reconstruction.
• Conduct dentoalveolar surgery and manage benign odontogenic lesions.
• Treat temporomandibular joint disorders.
• Use and contribute to 3‑D surgical planning and printing.

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Eligibility for a California medical license.
• Legal authority to work in the United States.
