Position Details

Part‑time lecturers to teach courses in Accounting and Accounting Information Systems in the BS/BA and MBA programs.

Responsibilities
  • Instruction, class preparation, grading, and office hours.
  • Other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
  • Course assignments and scheduling determined by the Department Chair under the direction of the College Dean.
Qualifications
  • MBA, MSA, or equivalent. JD acceptable for law related courses.
  • Availability to teach and hold office hours face‑to‑face. Office hours = 45min/wk per 3‑unit course.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • Five years related work experience.
Rank and Salary

Initial rank and salary based on experience and background. Ranges:

  • Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677
  • Lecturer B: $6,221 ‑ $13,224
  • Lecturer C: $6,825 ‑ $14,523
  • Lecturer D: $8,593 ‑ $15,211

Out of State Employment

Per CSU‑wide policy (HR2021‑04), all faculty who will begin initial employment (or return from a 12‑month break in service) on or after January 1, 2022 are required to perform their work from within the State of California. Faculty hired prior to January 1, 2022 must be available to perform work in the State of California if their assignment is in‑person.
