What You'll Do

As our 3rd Grade Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote academic growth and curiosity across all core subjects - reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
  • Create a welcoming classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to learn.
  • Incorporate instructional strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners, including English language learners and students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues during weekly prep and planning time to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain positive classroom management aligned with school expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, goals, and accomplishments.
  • Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional learning opportunities.
What You Bring

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (University Intern or District Intern accepted).
  • English Language Learner Authorization.
Preferred:
  • Successful prior teaching experience, student teaching, or equivalent classroom experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping students grow academically and personally.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
