Base Pay Range

$20.33/hr – $26.87/hr

Position Summary

Provides individual behavior intervention and medical support to students in classroom settings, and assists individuals or small groups of students to enhance learning. Assists teachers with instruction and classroom management in special education and general education classrooms, lunchroom, and playfield environs.

$20.33 - $26.87 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.

7 hours/day; 5 days/week

Benefits

Education & Experience

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Completion of at least 48 college credit units may substitute for the competency assessment.

Licenses & Certifications

May require a valid driver’s license. Compliance with District skill/competency requirements. May require a valid First Aid/CPR card.
