Area Quality Manger

* Bachelor's degree required in engineering or comparable discipline
* Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree
* Registered Professional Engineer desired
* 12+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or
* 15+ years of technical, managerial or quality experience
* Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations
* Technical knowledge of materials and construction concepts
* Proficient with database operations and Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources, people and projects
* Ability to make sound decisions, balancing consensus and authority as needed
* Exhibits strong leadership and teamwork skills, effectively operating within a matrix management environment
* Ability to work in high production environment, responding quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
* Possesses excellent consultative and communication abilities, interfacing well with all levels of management
* Proficient in training and development
* Self-motivated
* Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
* Ability and willingness to abide by company code of conduct daily
* Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for extended periods of time
