We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class facility solutions that include control system design for automation, safety, and life‑support systems.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of advanced engineering tasks. You will gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule, and provide on‑site assistance during startup. You will coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes. Your responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design
