Location:
Northern California
Target Salary Range: $80,000-$92,000 annual. Overtime Eligible.
Position Responsibilities- Travel approximately 80% of each month to customer locations, including regular overnight stays depending on site location.
- Commission, configure, maintain, and repair complex EV charging equipment.
- On-site advocate for ABB E-mobility Services, striving to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in all transactions and relationships.
- Create technical documentation for learning library and complete support paperwork and reports in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate harmoniously with remote technical support teams, spare parts, and key account managers to identify best solutions, create maintenance plans, and identify spare parts suggestions.
- Associate’s degree or military experience and 3+ years in Field Service OR High School Diploma with 5+ years in Field Service.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environment, learning new ways of working, and technical proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Track record of working autonomously, meeting deadlines, and triaging competing priorities.
- Knowledge of the EV charging industry is a plus.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US – This position is not authorized for sponsorship or relocation.
