Concrete Field Technician

Concrete Field Technician – Geotechnical and Concrete Inspections in the Sacramento/Stockton area.

$30.00/hr - $45.00/hr

• Perform field testing, sampling, and inspection of concrete and soils in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely field reports on the results of the tests and inspections.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the project specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in the evaluation of field and laboratory test data and provide recommendations based on the findings.
• Monitor and document construction activities related to soil and concrete work.
• Maintain and calibrate all testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Provide technical assistance to the project team and clients as needed.
• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations on the construction site.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Concrete Field Technician, Geotechnical Engineer, or a similar role.
• A valid ACI certification is required.
• Proficiency in using various testing equipment and tools.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and methods, particularly concrete and soils.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Strong commitment to ensuring safety and quality on the job site.
