We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Construction Management team in Sacramento, California.

• Assist in developing the utility master plan.
• Verify on-site installation accuracy for new and ongoing projects.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and report on construction project performance to the infrastructure team.
• Identify project risks and help formulate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present clear project and school data to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Provide technical and engineering support to the Program Management Office (PMO), including Project Managers and Construction Managers.
• Collaborate with surveying, testing, and inspection staff.
• Document construction progress through photographs, daily reports, and notes.
• Prepare written materials such as correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
• Support meeting coordination and minute-taking with stakeholders.
• Review submittal processes, RFIs, and monthly invoices.
• Perform other project support tasks as assigned.

• 3–5 years of recent professional experience managing construction of infrastructure projects.
• Background in large capital improvement programs and familiarity with relevant public codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
