We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Construction Management team in Sacramento, California.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing the utility master plan.
- Verify on-site installation accuracy for new and ongoing projects.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and report on construction project performance to the infrastructure team.
- Identify project risks and help formulate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present clear project and school data to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Provide technical and engineering support to the Program Management Office (PMO), including Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- Collaborate with surveying, testing, and inspection staff.
- Document construction progress through photographs, daily reports, and notes.
- Prepare written materials such as correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support meeting coordination and minute-taking with stakeholders.
- Review submittal processes, RFIs, and monthly invoices.
- Perform other project support tasks as assigned.
- 3–5 years of recent professional experience managing construction of infrastructure projects.
- Background in large capital improvement programs and familiarity with relevant public codes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
