Job Description And DutiesThe Program Technician (PT) II in the Imaging and Record Services Section processes the more complex and sensitive documents and workflows for entry into the Automated Archive System (AAS). The PT II also monitors and processes the Verification, Error Resolution, Expedite, and Final Resolution Queues within the primary scanning application, the Justice Electronic Document Imaging (JEDI) system. The PT II performs various inquiries and activities into the Automated Criminal History System, AAS, Folder Control System, and JEDI, in addition to various tasks related to the processing of fingerprint cards.
The PT II must determine the completeness and accuracy of criminal history source documents and be familiar with the criminal justice system and reporting processes for criminal history. The PT II also provides training and secondary verification review of work produced by various levels of staff in the section, ensuring the final product meets content requirements as needed on the multiple workflows and processes.
