The incumbent works under the general direction of the HR Section 2 Manager, Supervisor II, of the Human Resources Branch. The Supervisor I position is responsible for independently planning, implementing, and supervising all activities related to the Training and Development Unit ough subordinate staff, oversee and manage the development, design, and delivery of training while following applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
Act as Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. This position promotes compliance with all State mandated training, Cal Recycle required training, and ethics training associated with the Statement of Economic Interest (Form 700) and the Political Reform Act for the Fair Political Practices Commission. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California.
Beginning July 1st, 2026, it is anticipated the position will be office‑centered and employees will be expected to report to the office at least four days per week.
