We’re seeking a Senior GIS Consultant for GIS mapping, ArcGIS Online data management, and public‑facing web applications. This role emphasizes Experience Builder, Story Maps, and ADA‑compliant mapping. Ideal for a senior, hands‑on GIS professional who works independently and communicates clearly with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Create high‑quality static and interactive maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Produce ADA‑compliant PDF maps for public distribution.
- Manage and update ArcGIS Online datasets, feature layers, and geodatabases.
- Build and maintain Experience Builder apps, Web Maps, and Story Maps.
- Perform spatial and demographic analysis.
- Present findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Provide GIS consultation and user support as needed.
- 3+ years professional experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Online administration and web mapping.
- Proven ability to create ADA‑compliant maps.
- Preferred experience with California natural resources, wildfire, climate, or other programs.
- Preferred experience with public‑facing GIS applications.
- GIS certifications (GISP, Esri) preferred.
