Assistant General Counsel, Technology and Managed Services - Senior Manager

Join EY in this senior legal role that supports technology and managed services across our global practice. The Assistant General Counsel will advise, draft, negotiate, and manage complex, multi‑year agreements and support EY clients around AI, data, cloud, and other emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, update, and negotiate client‑facing Technology & Managed Services Agreements, including outsourcing, SaaS, implementation, and AI contracts.
  • Advise on legal risks, contractual strategy, and policy development for managed services and technology services.
  • Collaborate with US GCO groups and local counsel at other EY member firms on cross‑border contracting.
  • Coordinate legal resources and cross‑functional business teams (Data Privacy, Talent, Information Security, Tax) as necessary.
  • Manage workflow in a dynamic environment, remaining responsive, reliable, and accountable to leadership.
  • Deliver training and best‑practice knowledge sharing on Technology & Managed Services Agreements.
To Qualify
  • 8+ years of complex, client‑facing transactional experience in technology and services law.
  • Experience drafting and leading negotiation of Technology & Managed Services Agreements.
  • Strong background in managed services, outsourcing, SaaS, and emerging technologies (cloud, AI, data).
  • Experience with cross‑border contracting and data transfer compliance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate high workload, competing priorities, and change.
  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from accredited institutions.
  • State Bar membership, good standing, and current continuing legal education requirements.
