• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a Senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.
• A large or complex IT project is defined as duration greater than one (1) year with a total project budget exceeding $5 million.
• At least one (1) year of experience supporting the California Department of Technology Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process, including PAL Stages 2 and in support of a complex IT project with a duration of at least one (1) year and a total project budget exceeding $5 million.
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis). Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Programming, or other IT related field. Highly Desired: MBA or MSBA.
• A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• A valid PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, demonstrating a deep understanding of agile principles, practices, and tools across multiple agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, and others).
• Candidates will be required to provide two (2) references which the contact person will be required to sign the reference forms. Attachment will be provided.
• Candidates will be required to provide degree and certification copies.
