Municipal Law Attorney (5+ Years of Experience) Base pay range

• Provide legal counsel to public agencies, including city councils, on a wide range of municipal law matters.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on various complex issues related to public agency affairs, environmental law, government contracting, and other related areas.
• Prepare and review various legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Represent public entities in litigation, administrative hearings, and negotiations.
• Advise on the development and implementation of policies and procedures in compliance with municipal law.
• Develop and deliver presentations to city councils, public agencies, and other stakeholders on legal issues and developments.
• Collaborate with other legal team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective legal support.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal law, specifically in public agency affairs, environmental law, OR government contracting.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
• Demonstrated experience in representing public entities before administrative bodies and in court proceedings.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
