The OpportunityAre you a strategic supply chain leader who thrives on turning vision into operational excellence? As our Director of Distribution, reporting directly to the COO, you will own and elevate our domestic and international distribution network. You will lead multi-site warehousing, logistics, inventory deployment, transportation, and trade compliance—building a high-performing, scalable organization designed for growth.
What You’ll Do- Lead Operations:
Oversee multi-location warehousing, domestic/international freight, trade compliance, and logistics partners. - Drive Strategic Growth:
Design network strategies, optimize inventory deployment, and support facility expansions. - Optimize Performance:
Own key metrics across service quality, cost efficiency, capacity, and stock accuracy. - Build Leaders:
Coach warehouse and operational managers, foster accountability, and champion continuous process improvement. - Cross-Functional Impact:
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance to keep distribution tightly aligned with business goals.
- Experience:
8+ years in distribution, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations. - Leadership: 5+ years managing and developing operational leaders and team supervisors.
- Network & Trade Scope:
Proven experience managing multi-site distribution and direct oversight of international freight, customs, and import/export processes. - Financial & Analytical Acumen:
Track record of managing labor, freight, and storage budgets while leveraging operational data to solve complex bottlenecks. - Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year

- Distribution Leadership:
Lead warehouse, distribution, transportation, and logistics operations across multiple locations. - Performance Management:
Own distribution KPIs, establish clear performance expectations, and drive improvements in service, cost, capacity, and inventory flow. - Inventory Accuracy:
Be accountable for stock count approvals and inventory accuracy across all locations. - Network Strategy:
Develop inventory deployment and distribution network strategies; support capacity expansion and new facility initiatives. - Freight and Trade Operations:
Manage domestic and international freight, import/export operations, customs clearance, and distribution partners. - Cost Management:
Manage freight, labor, storage, and other distribution costs; evaluate ROI and service, cost, and inventory tradeoffs. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable warehouse and logistics processes. - Leadership Development:
Coach warehouse and logistics leaders, build accountability, and address performance issues directly. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to align distribution with business priorities. - Project Execution:
Set project timelines and drive toward the earliest achievable completion while building systems that support continued growth.
