About this Role:
Under the general direction of the Supervisor II in the Recruitment and Career Executive Assignment/Exempt Section (RCES), the Supervisor I (Unit Chief, Recruitment and Certification) directly oversees teams responsible for providing services including, but not limited to recruitment, certification, and Examination and Certification Online System (ECOS) to internal partners and the public.
The Unit Chief provides expertise in the development and review of DHCS’ recruitment and certification programs, initiatives, and related activities; creates and develops tools to support recruitment and certification team members, DHCS hiring units, and DHCS applicants.
The Unit Chief advises and develops collaborative working relationships with internal partners, including but not limited to DHCS hiring managers, personnel liaisons, and HRD team members.
