Proposal Coordinator – United Engineering Resources, Inc.

This role offers a unique chance to join our dynamic marketing and business development team at our corporate headquarters in Downtown Sacramento, CA. The position is under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Communications and involves coordinating and producing proposal responses, from short‑form sales letters and estimates to detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.

• Lead the coordination and production of proposal responses from short form sales letters & estimates to detailed RFP/RFQ packages.
• Perform detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to assess requirements and develop compelling proposal narratives that demonstrate our value proposition.
• Facilitate proposal kickoff sessions, strategic messaging, design, and creative writing for all levels of pursuits.
• Format proposals using Adobe InDesign in line with brand standards and client expectations.
• Ensure bid lists, public agency vendor lists, City/County Building Dept Approved Special inspection lists are current.
• Maintain and update proposal content libraries, resumes, project sheets, narratives and statistics.
• Ensure proposals meet all client requirements, are error‑free, and submitted on time.
• Utilize the Client Resource Management database (Salesforce) including maintenance of lead tracking, contacts, clients, and proposals.
• Assist in the development of interview presentations and collateral materials.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Graphic Design or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Prior experience with the RFP/RFQ process and proposal coordination (preferred).
• Familiarity with A/E/C industry (preferred).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Graphic design or layout experience.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience.

$30.00/hr – $35.00/hr (actual pay will be based on skills and experience).
