Marketing - Sr Product Marketing Manager

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and manage go‑to‑market strategies for a product portfolio. The role collaborates closely with Product and cross‑functional teams to achieve growth objectives, leveraging digital and traditional marketing initiatives and marketing technology tools.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and execute integrated, full‑funnel, multi‑channel go‑to‑market strategies and campaigns across website, email, mobile, social media, paid digital, SEO, content marketing, and both online‑ and banking‑platforms.
  • Anticipate market trends and customer needs, shaping marketing strategy to grow the portfolio and achieve key KPIs.
  • Use insights to inform product positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency in how products are presented.
  • Leverage customer insights, behavioral data, and segmentation to design lifecycle, event‑trigger, and loyalty programs.
  • Foster member engagement and increase wallet share through personalized, automated member journeys and offers.
  • Develop data‑driven, automated, personalized campaigns across channels.
  • Collaborate with Product and vertical teams to deliver optimal results tied to company growth goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and platforms supporting the company’s digital marketing efforts.
  • Define and monitor campaign KPIs to measure effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Own and maintain a product portfolio campaign roadmap and strategic briefs.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts to leadership.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, service excellence, and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:

    8+ years driving product marketing and go‑to‑market ownership for product portfolios; extensive experience leading digital marketing tactics and strategies.
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong experience using metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Leadership:
    Proven ability to build, execute, and scale cross‑functional marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration:

    Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Industry: Knowledge of the financial industry and experience working in a credit‑union or banking environment.
  • Critical thinking, strategic development, program/campaign development, ROI analysis.
  • Technical skills:
    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Project management:
    Accurate timeline, budget, and resource management.
  • Organizational:
    Excellent written and verbal communication with people at all levels.
  • Digital marketing expertise and proven track record with marketing automation systems.
  • Vendor and outsourced resource management.
  • Self‑starter, proactive, responsive to change, and open to feedback.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting with occasional movement.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. when necessary.
  • Occasional travel locally, statewide, and nationally (overnight travel may be required).
  • Availability for occasional long work hours.
