The allcove Youth Advisory Group is a paid advisory opportunity for young people who want to influence how mental health and wellness services are designed and delivered in their community.
Youth advisors play a critical role in shaping programs, outreach, and advocacy efforts that support young people across California. Your lived experience, ideas, and leadership matter—and this is a space where your voice is valued.
What You’ll Gain- Join a community of young leaders committed to youth mental health and well‑being
- Influence the development of innovative, youth-centered mental health services
- Build skills in leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and systems change
- Receive training and support in mental health advocacy and community engagement
- Earn a stipend for active participation
- Share your perspectives to help guide allcove programs, services, and outreach
- Collaborate with other youth advisors and the allcove team locally and statewide
- Help identify barriers to access and propose solutions that promote equity
- Participate in projects, discussions, and events that elevate youth voice
- Support community initiatives and provide insight on youth-focused strategies
- Explore ways to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds and communities
- Age:
Must be 16–25 years old at the time of application - Time Commitment:
Able to participate 8–10 hours per month for up to 12 months - Interest & Commitment:
Passion for mental health, youth advocacy, and community impact - Lived Experience Welcome:
Youth from diverse racial, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
Youth advisors are eligible to receive a stipend for active participation in accordance with program guidelines and applicable laws. Participation is advisory in nature and does not constitute employment.

, a youth-centered hub providing integrated mental health and wellness services for young people ages 12–25.
