The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides skilled nursing care to residents at ACC Care Center, including direct resident care, collaboration with other disciplines, participation in case conferences, and completion of paperwork. This non‑exempt position requires timely documentation and interaction with physicians and discharge planners.

• Supervises and directs resident care by CNAs, ensuring continuity of care and coordinating among disciplines.
• Performs nursing treatments and procedures as prescribed for assigned residents, including administration of medications and specialized diets.
• Assists physicians with rounds and assessments, administer IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Evaluates nursing care, reports diagnostic data, incorporates it into the plan of care, and provides resident and family teaching.
• Maintains accurate documentation per Title XXII and OBRA regulations, using correct medical terminology.
• Participates in orientation, committees, and staff meetings.
• Manages case communication and coordinates resident care.
• Establishes short‑and long‑term goals for resident care and compliance with corporate policies, including HIPAA.

• Valid California Licensed Vocational Nursing certificate.
• CPR certification.
• One year of recent skilled nursing experience preferred.
