The facility operates as a combined occupational medicine and urgent care clinic, providing both scheduled and walk-in services in an on-site setting. The clinic is structured to support the delivery of occupational medicine and urgent care services for patients across all age groups. Established clinical protocols support consistent and quality care delivery throughout the assignment.

The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore cycling and walking paths along the American River Parkway, paddle boarding at Lake Natoma, and over 800 murals displayed across tree-lined neighborhoods. Notable cultural destinations include the Crocker Art Museum, the California State Railroad Museum, and Old Sacramento State Historic Park, with additional options for live events, guided tours, and dining available throughout the area.

Clinicians will provide occupational medicine and urgent care services during day shifts at an on-site clinic, managing 20-25 patients per day across all age groups. Clinical responsibilities consist of approximately 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care, encompassing the evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and acute conditions. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
