American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a Day Shift inpatient acute rehabilitation role requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 52 private beds and a current census of 35
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, and amputations in adult patients 18+
• Patients often require isolation precautions, trach care, extensive wound care, and restraints
• Average patient stay is 12 days
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• At least 6 months of rehab or inpatient setting experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

• Deliver specialized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Closed-toed shoes required; short, non-acrylic nails required
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs, though not mandatory
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
