American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation unit requiring 2 years of experience and a CA RN license.

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 52 private beds
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, and amputations
• Patients are 18+ with needs including isolation precautions, trachs, extensive wound care, and restraints
• Average patient stay of 12 days
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Day shift, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend required

• Active CA RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 6 months of rehab or inpatient setting experience required
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Short, non-acrylic nails required
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active license verification via Nursys required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

• Provide specialized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs though not mandatory
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
