    * * to join our growing Northern California Cultural Resources team. This hybrid opportunity can be based in our Oakland or Sacramento, CA offices.

    This position is a core member of the Cultural Resources Practice with responsibility for supporting all aspects of project implementation. This is a regular, full-time, salaried position that will report to a Cultural Resources Team Manager. This position may serve as a crew lead, based on work experience and education.
    ** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**+ Completing fieldwork (survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring), archival research, technical report writing, and data collection and compilation.+ Gathering data and other information to be used in the preparation of environmental reports.+ Working independently, part of a team, and under supervision of senior staff.+ Liaising and developing positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.+

    Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulatory framework, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act, and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).+ Ability to organize data in an efficient and clear manner.+ Drawing conclusions and making recommendations based on analysis.+ Flexibility and willingness to support multiple projects, including occasional travel.+ Being innovative and a problem solver.+

    * Minimum Requirements:

    **+ BA/BS in anthropology, archaeology, history, or a closely related field.+ 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology and cultural resources management.+ Willingness/ability to travel and conduct fieldwork throughout central and northern California.+ Valid driver's license is required.
