Overview
We are a family-owned bar in the historic Old Sacramento neighborhood seeking a hard-working, reliable team player to join us. The kitchen is small and run by one person per shift. We have a menu of shareable bar food.
Responsibilities- Cook: manage the kitchen during your shift, prepare food orders, run food, wash dishes, and clean up.
- Bar back: support the bartender by refilling ice wells, cleaning glassware, operating the dishwasher, restocking liquor and beer, and assisting the bartender as needed.
- Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; maintain cleanliness and time management.
- Some kitchen/food service background; willingness to learn more about working in a bar and gaining front-of-house experience.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work weekends.
- Tipped out by the bartender every shift.
