Job Type: Full-time
PositionFreight/Receiving associates ensure the store is stocked and ready for business every day. They load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the store, may operate forklifts, and perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required, and excellent customer service skills are expected. The Freight/Receiving roles may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate, and Receiving Support.
Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks and move material from receiving to appropriate areas in the store.
- Maintain proper on-hands and pricing for products and assist customers as needed.
- Operate forklifts where applicable and ensure safe, accurate handling of merchandise.
- Experience in retail or warehouse operations preferred; strong customer service skills required.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise and operate related equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
