About The Company

Loop Neighborhood Market is based in Union City, California with stores and stations across the state. Founded in 1978, the company develops real estate and owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes, and provides wholesale fuel delivery to dealer locations.

Position Summary

We are looking for hardworking, dedicated, customer‑focused individuals for full‑time and part‑time shifts. Team Members will ensure smooth station operations, contribute to profitability and growth, and embody our core values:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Managing the cash register throughout the shift, ensuring the money stays balanced and customers are assisted in a fast and accurate manner.
  • Stocking products on shelves and maintaining the store’s appearance.
  • Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Maintaining a clean, customer‑friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues as needed.
  • Preparing shift reports at the end of shifts per company guidelines.
  • Cross‑selling and upselling store products and sales to assist in increasing store sales.
  • Escalating all high‑priority issues to the immediate manager.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with management.
  • Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
  • Basic math skills, including proper calculation of change.
  • Ability to validate  to selling tobacco and/or alcohol, as required by law.
  • Can lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders as needed.
  • Remain calm and respond to emergencies per company policies.
  • Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
  • Ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in different weather conditions, and in the station).
Employee Incentives
  • Employees with 6 months to 3 years: 0.10 cent off a gallon of fuel.
  • Employees with 3 years to 5 years: 0.30 cent off a gallon of fuel.
  • Employees with 5 + years: 0.40 cent off a gallon of fuel.
  • Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill‑ups per week.
Additional Information
  • Must be 18 + years old to work 1st and 2nd shift.
  • Minimum of 21 years old to work 3rd shift.

Salary: $17.55 - $19.00 per hour.
