The Sales Assistant supports the Account Manager’s efforts by handling fulfillment so the Account Executive can focus on client-facing activities, creating opportunities, and closing revenue. This is a part-time, temporary position of at least six months with the possibility of turning into a permanent, full-time position. The role reports to the Sales Operations Manager.
- Partners with Account Managers on post-sales activity including order entry and day-to-day account management to ensure proper implementation of solutions, broadcast and digital.
- Assist Programming staff with daily administration of managing logs and station programming.
- Process client posts, supply pre/post log times, send invoice copies, and assist with a wide range of duties as needed.
- Work in a team environment to achieve individual and team goals and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
- Coordinate with the team to set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry, and revisions.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize workflow to meet team goals and deadlines.
- Use Wide Orbit Traffic to prepare reports and provide back-up as needed for Account Managers.
- Provide support and work closely with sales staff, local, national, and digital teams.
- Perform duties of other team members as needed.
- 3-4 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment plus high school diploma (or GED).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, advertising solutions, and Wide Orbit Traffic is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
