This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Specialist located in Sacramento, CA.

The Sales And Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and conducting sales training.

They will also be tasked with overseeing sales management activities and meeting sales targets to ensure business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
  • Achieve growth and increase sales by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales. Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers
  • Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry;
    Conduct research to guarantee the customer is offered the ‘right part for the right price’
  • Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts; processes returns and reconciles accounts
  • Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with management team.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos.
  • Upsell products by highlighting their benefits and features to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain stock levels by organizing and restocking merchandise as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
  • Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Auto Parts store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management
  • Ability to conduct effective Training sessions for the sales team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
