Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Sacramento. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring that landscaping services align with client expectations and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating service schedules, preparing estimates and proposals, monitoring project progress, and resolving client questions or concerns promptly.

The Account Manager collaborates with field teams to communicate client needs, track performance, and support sustainable, water-conscious landscaping solutions. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, reporting on account status, and identifying opportunities for service improvements and account growth.

Qualifications

• Client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and maintain long-term accounts.
• Experience with project coordination or service scheduling, preferably in landscaping, property maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of sustainable landscaping, adaptive maintenance, or water-conscious practices, or willingness to learn these principles.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation, estimates, and follow-up.
• Proficient in using office software and tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or customer databases) to manage account information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present proposals and explain services to clients.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Sacramento, collaborate with field crews, and occasionally visit client properties.
• Prior experience in account management, customer service, or sales is preferred; experience in the green industry is a plus.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to environmentally responsible, client-focused service.
