Our team of hydro geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, and water experts focuses on helping clients protect natural resources by developing and managing groundwater resources, ensuring long‑term sustainability, and applying aquifer‑storage and recovery technologies for drought resilience and environmental benefits.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled project manager with experience in California water supply issues to help manage a thriving and growing base of groundwater projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, high‑performing team of professionals making a positive impact in the water industry.

Responsibilities

This is a full‑time, on‑site Geologist position based in the Greater Sacramento area. The Geologist will conduct field investigations, collect and analyze soil and groundwater samples, prepare technical reports, and assist in environmental site assessments and remediation projects. Additional responsibilities include evaluating groundwater and hydrogeologic data, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in field investigations, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling
  • Experience in hydrogeology, environmental site assessments, and remediation techniques
  • Proficiency in technical writing, reporting, and data interpretation
  • Familiarity with GIS and data visualization tools
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse project teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe
