OverviewWe are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. In this role you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
- Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
- Install and maintain equipment at the local and global level per design packages.
- Program and install head‑end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
- Diagnose and isolate both systems and hardware at local and global levels.
- Lead on‑site software commissioning and testing.
- Conduct inspections, evaluations, and inventory; perform takedown of project drawings.
- Document and track RFIs.
- Assist with design and provide feedback.
- Document daily reports and project progress.
- Communicate project and team member issues or concerns to management.
- Create and manage project schedule; integrate IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
- Guide and mentor technicians.

Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and may need U.S. citizenship for access to classified information.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
Key Requirements
:
- Valid driver’s license; position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
- Acceptable driving record per company policy.
- High school diploma or GED, with military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours), or
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, or
- Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
- 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
- 3+ years of experience focused in electronic security systems.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems).
