Role: HVAC Technician

The HVAC Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management. We are seeking both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to support our growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable, and have good customer service skills. This role services the Fresno area.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Adhering to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers' queries professionally.

Requirements

• Field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Expected to travel 50% of the time within California.
• EPA Type 1 & 2 universal certification.
• Own hand tools.
• Clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred).
• Physical ability to:
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Stand for long periods.
• Bend or twist body.
• Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.
• Repeat movements.

Estimated Salary: $30-$60/hr DOE. We offer excellent health benefits, a 401(k) plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and flexible scheduling.
