Schedule: Full-Time (with on-call rotation)
Compensation: $75,000 - $250,000/year (depending on experience and performance)
About the Role
Rooter Hero is hiring an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our Sacramento team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems while delivering outstanding service to our customers. Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform residential plumbing service and repair
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot water, drain, and gas systems
- Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Provide accurate estimates and explain repair or replacement options to customers
- Ensure all work meets current codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in excellent condition
- Participate in an on-call rotation (1 night shift per week)
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment
- 2+ years of previous residential plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license with minimal DMV infractions
- Ability to work weekends and cover one on-call night shift weekly
- Must provide own hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
