Lead Carpenter MultiTrade Projects Division

We are hiring a Lead Carpenter / Multi-Trade Lead to execute small residential projects independently. This role is for someone who can plan, execute, and close jobs without hand-holding. You will be responsible for taking a defined scope, completing day-to-day work on site, maintaining quality, communicating with clients, and finishing projects cleanly and on time. This is not a helper or apprentice role.

• Lead and complete small residential projects (repairs, remodels, punch-list, specialty jobs)
• Plan daily work, sequence tasks, and pick up materials
• Perform hands‑on carpentry and related trades (framing, trim, drywall, basic electrical/plumbing coordination)
• Protect existing finishes and maintain a clean, safe jobsite
• Communicate clearly with clients and the internal team
• Identify problems early and resolve them without drama
• Maintain quality standards without supervision
• Complete punch‑lists and final walkthroughs professionally
• Accurately report job progress, issues, and completion

Required

• 5+ years of hands‑on residential carpentry experience
• Proven experience running small jobs independently
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods
• Ability to read and execute from plans or written scopes
• Comfortable making decisions on site
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for a full day

Preferred (but not required)

• Multi‑trade experience beyond carpentry
• Experience working directly with homeowners
• Familiarity with California residential building standards
• Leadership or crew‑lead experience

$30 - $45 hourly
