Pay: $30 to $38 per hour, depending on experience

Cobex Construction Group is seeking an experienced Roof Repair Technician to diagnose roof leaks, complete residential roof repairs, and help homeowners understand the condition of their roofs. This position focuses specifically on repairs and service work.

We are looking for someone who can identify the source of a problem, recommend the appropriate repair, and complete quality work with clear documentation.

• Inspect residential roofs and diagnose leaks, damage, and other roofing issues.
• Perform repairs on shingles, tile, flashing, roof penetrations, and related components within your training and experience.
• Identify the materials and labor needed for each repair and communicate the scope to the team.
• Document roof conditions and completed work with photos and detailed notes.
• Explain findings and completed repairs to homeowners professionally.
• Communicate additional damage or conditions requiring a revised scope before proceeding.
• Follow ladder, fall protection, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Protect the homeowner’s property and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with the office and production team on scheduling, materials, and job updates.

• Previous residential roofing experience, including hands-on repair work.
• Ability to diagnose roof leaks and complete repairs independently.
• Familiarity with common residential roofing materials and repair methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobs throughout the Sacramento area.
• Ability to perform essential field duties, including using ladders, working at heights, and handling roofing materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
