Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced C# Application & SQL Developer to join our team under a leased employee contract. The selected resource will design, develop, and modify software applications while working closely with Senior SMEs on ETL processes to support a wide variety of data requests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify software applications.
• Build and enhance relational and multidimensional database structures, relationships, data flows, and interfaces.
• Modify ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the outage management data warehouse.
• Analyse and optimize data warehouse structures to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop new data warehouse structures, reports, and modify existing ones using best practices, coding standards, and programming methods.
• Perform unit testing and debugging before delivery.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, testing, documentation, and project planning.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, recommend technical alternatives, and deliver solutions.
• Create technical documentation, specifications, structure charts, and data flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with business users to support test scenarios, plans, and scripts.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Foster effective working relationships and contribute to diverse teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Visual Studio and C#.
• 7+ years of SQL Server/RDBMS experience, including query optimization.
• Strong proficiency in writing/debugging C# code and SQL queries (examples must be provided in resume).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
  .
• Minimum 1 year of Electric Utility industry experience.
