Long‑term Contract Position.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our non‑profit organization in Sacramento, California. This long‑term contract position involves creating and enhancing web‑based applications, APIs, and business logic while working with a modern tech stack. You will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure efficient development processes and contribute to the organization’s mission through impactful software solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain web‑based applications using .NET and React frameworks.
- Create and optimize APIs and implement business logic to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in Agile workflows, including standups and sprint planning.
- Ensure code quality through testing during development and support QA processes.
- Contribute to the prioritization of project backlogs and provide insights on development strategies.
- Work with Azure cloud environments to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Assist in onboarding test automation tools and integrating them into development workflows.
- Provide technical input and recommendations for future team growth and hiring needs.
- Utilize Jira for project tracking and management across development tasks.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Applications Manager and IT Director.
- Proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework development.
- Strong experience with React or React Native for frontend development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and SQL database management.
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
- Previous experience with e‑commerce applications is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience with Business Central is advantageous but not required.
