Position

Class C Driver/Warehouse Worker – Sacramento, CA

PACE Supply is seeking a motivated Class C Driver/Warehouse Worker to maintain our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. This full‑time role involves making deliveries and performing general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory.

• Receive orders from supervisor and prepare prioritized work tags.
• Pull orders from inventory (manual or forklift) and prepare materials for delivery or pickup.
• Packs materials in boxes or on pallets, labels and checks filled orders for accuracy before delivery.
• Maintain records of materials pulled for customer pickup and waits on express will‑call customers to ensure fast turnaround.
• Assist counter sales by entering orders into the system and loading orders.
  
  Perform routine inventory checks and assist periodic physical inventories.
• Maintain a tidy and orderly warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize productivity and ensure timely order fulfillment.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; college degree in logistics, supply chain, business preferred.
• Warehousing, retail/customer service, or forklift experience desirable.
• Knowledge of warehouse software and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Hands‑on commitment to getting the job done.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and follow‑up practices.

• Background check – comprehensive review; qualified applicants with criminal history considered per California regulations.
• Physical examination to assess fitness for position requirements.
• Drug test to ensure a drug‑free workplace.

• Stand, walk, reach with hands; lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing/sitting at a desk, working on computer.
• Specific vision requirements: distance, peripheral, depth perception.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather; occasional high vibrations; moderate noise level.
