The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings, including routine exams and specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for quality and interprets the captured images.
• Documents/updates information in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents the clinic professionally, treating all customers courteously and cooperatively.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development.
• Demonstrates and embodies Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Ensures compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Valid Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Effective communication with coworkers, providers, and patients.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, eCW a plus.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
