Reg Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Bay Care Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist at Mease Countryside Hospital. The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician order and in accordance with hospital protocols, other healthcare providers, or board guidelines; functions in unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing and provides emergency/adult critical care support.

Certifications and Licensures

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• NRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months
• PALS (Pediatric) -

Education

• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate's Respiratory Therapy

Experience

• 6 Months Respiratory

Specific Skills

• NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred
• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Computer skills appropriate to position
• Collaborate and work with a team
• Critical thinking skills
• Advanced Respiratory Assessment and Evaluations
