• Personal hygiene (assisting with bathroom use, bedpan, bathing, mouth care, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation and transfers
• Eating assistance
• Dressing and grooming
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range‑of‑motion exercises
• Measuring and preparing special diets
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care

• Compassion and concern for veterans and older adults
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have your own insured automobile
